Community living for senior citizens

Community living for senior citizens is relatively a new concept in India as compared to other countries. However there are community living residential care colonies are emerging and some of them are successful in terms of bringing all senior citizens together to spend their happy time. We are happy to share that Yes I Can Foundation accomplished Geriatric training for the caregivers in the community living facility in Pune City ( Utsav Care community living). The training program consists of theory as well as practical experiences for all the participants. As an impact participants are trained as Geriatric professionals who are already working as a caregivers. Most of these participants come from an underprivileged background from small villages near Pune. The training consists of government of India certification to the community living facility. You can too give them an opportunity by inviting them for a session for seniors at your place and colonies. Say Yes I Can and write to neha.yesicanfoundation@gmail.com
