Yes I Can Foundation is happy to announce its flagship program under ‘Saksham’ Empowerment for underprivileged girls – Skill development course on ‘Geriatric Caretaker’ Where these girls will get empowered to work in old age homes, hospitals and private households to look after senior citizens.
Girls will be trained in different modules specialized to geriatric caregiving and focus will be on training girls on psychological and mental health aspects of an old age.
As a part of this skilling program, field visits too will be arranged where girls will get a chance to meet senior citizens and understand the challenges.
Girls will get mentors from the organization to groom their soft skills and overall personality development such as confidence building, English language development and public speaking.
