Yes I Can Foundation’s project ‘Saksham’ focuses on empowerment of a girl child through value education and learning.
In association with D.S tutorials study center to serve an underprivileged teenage girls from Kurla urbanslum community from Mumbai city- an awareness workshop on ‘ Menstrual Hygiene ‘ organized.
Girls learned about menstrual Hygiene awareness as well as difference between good and bad touch.
Girls were empowered to learn myths associated with menstrual cycle and how to educate family members on these myths. It was demonstrated to girls how to say ‘ No’ to prevent abuse Thanks to all our students, volunteers and supporters for sanitary napkins distribution drive.
